About Us

Our Story: Building a Blue Zone from the Ground Up

Blue Zone Health Resort, Farm & Learning Campus began with a bold question: What would it look like to build a genuinely healthy community in Thailand — one inspired by the world's longest-living people?

Founded by Dr. Krizz Chantjiraporn, a senior advisor to government, international trade, and sustainability programs, and developed through SCM-ITC International Academy, Blue Zone Nongkhai was created to be more than a wellness destination.

It was created to be a living model — a place that demonstrates, day by day, that holistic health, sustainable living, faith-based values, and community empowerment can exist together in a single, thriving space.

Vision and
Mission

Vision

To become the leading health resort and wellness destination in Nongkhai — Thailand's gateway to the Mekong region — where people of all backgrounds can experience healing, learning, and sustainable living.

Mission

To promote holistic health, sustainable living, and lifelong learning through wellness programs, natural farming, and community-based experiences.

Led by dedicated lay professionals and inspired by Christian-ethical values, we serve as a welcoming space for all — supporting personal growth, cultural connection, and lasting social impact.

What we stand for?

Healthful Living

We believe every person deserves access to a life of physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. We promote sustainable health habits rooted in time-tested, evidence-based principles.

Christian Ethics &

Compassionate Service

We are guided by faith-inspired principles of integrity, compassion, and service to others — while warmly welcoming guests of all faiths and backgrounds.

Family & Community

Strong communities are at the heart of every Blue Zone. We nurture belonging, connection, and mutual support in everything we do.

Collaborative Partership

We believe meaningful change happens through collaboration. We actively partner with government bodies, NGOs, tourism councils, and international institutions to advance sustainable wellness and community development.

Why Blue Zone?

The term 'Blue Zone' was coined by researcher Dan Buettner to describe regions of the world where people live significantly longer, healthier lives with remarkably low rates of chronic disease. These communities include:

  • Loma Linda, USA — home to a large Seventh-day Adventist community

  • Okinawa, Japan

  • Sardinia, Italy

  • Ikaria, Greece

  • Nicoya, Costa Rica

Common among all of them: plant-based diets, active daily movement, strong community bonds, faith and purpose, and stress-reduction practices.

At Blue Zone Nongkhai, we have adapted these principles to the warm, fertile, community-rich landscape of northeastern Thailand — creating Southeast Asia's first resort fully devoted to Blue Zone living.
